Red Mountain at Dusk

The main goal of the Ivins Tourism Council really boils down to simply getting the word out about all the wonderful venues and activities available in Ivins, Utah. The Internet, of course, is one of the most powerful tools we have available to us to accomplish this goal. We started leveraging the Internet by the launch of our new site back in September of 2008. We then continued to use what is available by starting our Twitter account at http://twitter.com/ivinsutah/. We have now moved into the next “big thing” by starting our very own blog. Our hope it to keep everyone up to date and excited about all that is happening here in our beautiful area plus give highlights on past events.

To Start we would like to remind everyone about the upcoming shows at Tuacahn! We are so privileged to have the post-broadway regional premiere of Disney’s Tarzan playing right here at Tuacahn. Kevin Smith (CEO of Tuacahn) has said that this show is unlike anything they have done before. Go to Tuacahn.org now to buy tickets to this as well as the other shows playing this summer. Before the show be sure to come check out Coyote Art Village in Kayenta. Here you will find everything from painting, to metal and ceramic sculptures. Of course hand made jewelery and other items are available. While there get a bit to eat at Xetava Gardens Cafe before the show.
